Two approved victims suspected after the I-10 output ramp fire

Shooting in a wide range of daylight, with several different cars near the Intector 10 exit ramp to Thomville Road, left two people injured on October 3. And caused Gridlock on the north side of the city.

Shonda Knight, a spokeswoman for Leon County Sheriff’s Bureau, said the shooting occurred around 5:23 p.m.

“There were three vehicles, and two people were struck in separate vehicles,” she said. “At least one of these two was seriously injured.”

She said the harder -wounded victim was from the scene of the scene in Gainesville’s life and the other was treated at a local hospital.

The victims were an adult black man and a white woman, Knights said.

FHP Master Corp. Patricia A. Jefferson-Shaw also confirmed that a possible shooting occurred.

“It was a kind of shooting, and the vehicle escaped from the scene of the incident,” she said, adding that LCSO was leading the investigation.

The traffic flowed in both directions I-10, although the ThomasVille Road ramps remained closed. There are fifty or more LCSO vehicles on stage. The deputies may have been visible by looking at the area with flashlights and talking to people who may have witnessed.

The pickup truck that pulls the boat on the trailer can be seen on the I-10 shoulder to the east near the crime scene. The deputies were visible for a truck with lights on.

The State 511 site classified it as a “main” incident.

About 7:05 p.m. LCSO has announced a warning of public security: “Leon County Sheriff’s Office is working on the I-10 Eastern exit 203. There are two approved victims. The suspect is wide. Avoid the area. If you have information, call LCSO 850-606-5800”.
