President Donald Trump forgot Jeffrey Epstein Maelstrom that his base is managing him, not the other way around, says legendary journalist Tina Brown.
The longtime founder of the Powerbroker and Daily Beast, the Daily Beast Podcast, said the short response to Maga’s Fury has only helped it to alienate from some of its fiercest supporters.

Brown, which 2008 Founded the Daily Beast with Media Titan Barry Diller, calling the record “improperly improved” as it shows that the president confused the dynamics of his relationship with his supporters.
“I mean, as we know, he said loudly, ‘I could go on a walk of the Fifth Avenue and shoot something, and my base will still love me,” she told Hugh Dougherty, executor of Daily Beast. “He thinks this uprising makes it very difficult because they should just get together and worship it.”
It seems that his base is finally confronted with the fact that they think they are stupid, she added, and they do not buy when he tries to attach the episten scandal for Democrats.
Brown noted that Candace Owens wrote: “Almost as if short thinks his base is stupid.” And I was thinking he always thought they were always stupid.
“You think he wants to be with many of those people? No, he doesn’t.”
Trump’s efforts to say that Epstein Fury is a kind of democratic storyline to hurt it is too funny to persuade its supporters. “Even Maga doesn’t buy it,” Brown said. “Something has to be like a shower or something: ‘I can blame it for Democrats.’ It is too late … It was not a gloomy use of lies, which is usually very effective on its side.

Maga’s supporters are beginning to wondering if they think they said directly with them, instead of showing them contempt, like other elites, they are certainly their guy.
“Suddenly, the way short does not talk to them anymore. He behaves as if they were stupid.
“He really appreciated this because he is essentially telling them – he treats them as a global elite they hate so much, always treating them,” she said. “It’s not good. It’s not their boyfriend.”
The scandal can be a point that finally begins to destroy Teflon Don’s power, Brown added.
“It’s a very dangerous moment. I think short … It has always been its power – they think they have this intimate sensitivity and value connection to him,” she said. “And if they think he’s right, you know, kicking them on the sidewalk and calling them” weak “and” just get on the train because I tell you, “I don’t think it will play well.”
