Springfield, the insurance provider, PacificSource Health Plans, plans to stop serving the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members of Lane County 2026. January 1 The PacificSource 90,000 members in the Lane County Service may expect their insurance services to move to another coordinated maintenance organization (CCO).
The continuing process to get another CCO Lane in County, as the Oregon Health Service is seeking organizations that can manage PacificSource members will no longer serve next year.
Here’s what to know about the future of the Pacific state Lane County and the local OHP coverage.
What is happening with Pacificsource in Lane County?
The Oregon Health Service (OHA) is responsible for access to health care institutions. OHP is administered by OHP, which provides healthcare to oregon people with low income.
Residents who can receive OHP can currently choose two insurance providers in Lane County: PacificoSource Health and Trillium community health plans.
These insurance providers act as a network of coordinated maintenance organizations (CCO), which control the maintenance network of service providers who provide Medicare and other OHP recipients.
Pacificsource reported OHA on September 18th. He will not renew his Lane County Cco Treaty. This allows the Trillium to absorb some patients losing coverage through PacificSource, and means that Oha may need to find another CCO to help with more than 90,000 people currently involved in Pacificsource.

Is Pacificsource shrinking from Lane County?
Yes. Pacificsource plans to terminate its CCO Treaty on January 1st.
Pacificsource also decided to withdraw from Oregon’s health from January 1. Oregon’s health is not a profit -seeking Oregon Health Plan members Clackam, Multnomah and Washington counties, bringing together health plans, providers and community health resources to help members access supervision.
Why does Pacificsource leave Lane County as a Medicaid provider?

“Unfortunately, after detailed debate, it became clear that constant participation in current conditions would hurt our ability to efficiently serve people who rely on us and endanger the long-term sustainability of our organization,” said Fair Taylor.

Oha responds to Pacificsource withdrawal from Lane County
OHA Communications Officer Kristen Lambert during negotiations for CCO agreements.
Lambert said the state must maintain the nets strong and sustainable while protecting taxpayers’ dollars.
“This year’s negotiations were particularly difficult due to many factors, including federal uncertainty and increasing health care costs not only here in Oregon but also throughout the nation,” Lambert said.
What happens to Lane County, PacificSource patients?
Lambert said the current contract means that Pacificsource is required to provide services, “and Oha sets another provider.
“There is a process to ensure that the members keep the CCO coverage. In the coming months, we will work with these steps. As part of the current contract, Pacificsource must provide services and OHA will finish setting up another network supplier.
“There will be no immediate changes to the provider, community members or OHP members,” Lambert said. “Oha will work closely with Pacificsource, as with all of our CCOs to ensure continuity of Lane County’s care.”
Jason Davis, a public information officer at Lane County Health & Human Services, said August. There were 21,946 PacificSource and 8,226 Trillium community health plan assigned to county clinics.
He said the county “awaits OHA information about other actions for persons subject to Pacificsource.
Davis said pacificSource patients will not see emergency changes in Lane County clinics, as “everyone who is currently receiving Medicaid coverage will continue to be Medicaid and will have access to benefits.”
What other Pacific Patients do you have?
The Tigard -based Trillium community health plan is the only other Oregon health plan insurance provider Lane County. Courtney Johnston, Director of Government Relations and Communications of Trillium, email The letter stated that Trillium currently employs 36,035 OHP members in its Lane County service area, which also contains Western Douglas County and Linn County parts.
She said Trillium is going to continue Lane County as a coordinated care organization and is trying to preserve the supervision of its members in Lane County. Trillium points out the ability to increase local patients looking for insurance.
Davis said that if Trillium needs time to accommodate more members to create a larger network, or if Trillium does not want to accept those patients, Oha could look for alternatives. He said Lane County would be waiting for Oha instructions on what those decisions might be.
OHA representatives did not answer additional register protection questions before the term.
Davis said the expected solution is that Trillium will make “all those who are subject to current service providers”. According to law, Medicaid patients must be classified as coordinated by the organization.
Does Peacehealth Hospital take Trillium?
PeaceHealth accepts all Medicaid forms, said communications manager Jim Murez.
PEACEHEALTH Communication Manager Jim Murez said PeaceHealth adopts patients insured by Pacificsource or Trillium and the hospital is monitored.
“If PacificSource leaves the Lane County market, Peacehealth accepts all forms of Medicaid and will continue to do it,” Murez said.
Does the McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center take Trillium?
Jana Waterman, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, said the hospital is on the PacificSource network. She said MWMC does not accept Trillium as an insurance form.
Johnston, a representative of Trillium, said that although Trillium does not currently have a contract with MWMC, the hospital will not deny supervisory emergency care, regardless of personal insurance cover.
“This is a hospital institution, so all members can be seen for emergency services,” Johnston said. “Hospitals are subject to federal EMTala (emergency medical and labor law) laws that require you to see everyone who comes through the door to emergency services.”
