Donald Trump used a late-Thanksgiving message to launch an offensive tirade against a political rival before announcing he wants to end migration from all “Third World Countries.”
Trump began his rambling post with a happy Thanksgiving greeting, but quickly turned into a post of anti-immigration rage, blaming “American Citizens and Patriots who have been so nice in allowing our country to be divided, disrupted, divided.”
Trump said he would “permanently cut off migration” from “all third world countries” following the deadly shooting in Washington, DC, in which the alleged gunman is an Afghan national.

The 79-year-old was also fuming about a familiar topic of discussion — Somalia — when he used the slur against Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Complaining that the Social Truth about America is “politically correct” on immigration policies, the president backtracked on his plans to end temporary protection status for Somalis in Minnesota.
The president told reporters earlier in the evening that “the Somalis have caused a lot of trouble” and “We’re not taking their people anymore. We’re taking a lot of them out because they’re nothing but trouble.”
Last week, Trump claimed Minnesota was a “hub for fraudulent money laundering” and said he wanted Somalis living there to be sent “back to where they came from.”
Trump wrote Thursday that there were “hundreds of thousands” of refugees from Somalia, “completely taking over” Minnesota.

“Somali gangs roam the streets looking for ‘loot’ while our wonderful people remain locked in their apartments and homes, hoping against hope that they will be left alone,” Trump claimed.
“Minnesota’s seriously retired governor, Tim Walz, is doing nothing either through fear or incompetence or both,” Trump wrote.
Walz reposted Trump’s offensive post on his X account, adding the caption “Release MRI results.”
Since Trump admitted to having an MRI scan at his medical check-up last month, but did not say what the scan was for, debate has raged about the president’s cognitive decline.

Not content with insulting Walz, Trump then lashed out at Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, who was born in Somalia but has lived in the US for 30 years.
The president labeled her “the worst ‘congressman/woman’ in our country” and said she was “always wrapped in her swaddle hijab.”
He claimed that Omar “does nothing but hatefully complain about our country… and how ‘bad’ it is treated”, calling his “place of origin” a “decadent, backward and crime-ridden nation”.
The Daily Beast has reached out to the offices of Walz and Omar for comment.

Trump blamed former President Joe Biden’s immigration policies for the arrival of the Afghan national who is a suspect in Wednesday’s fatal shooting in Washington, DC.
The suspect, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, is an Afghan man who has lived in Washington since 2021 after fleeing the Taliban takeover of the country. CNN reported that he “applied for asylum in 2024 and was granted it by the Trump administration in April 2025.”
During a news conference Thursday, Trump called a female reporter “stupid” when she said his Justice Department reported this year that there was “thorough vetting” by DHS and the FBI of Afghans entering the US.
When asked directly if the suspect was granted asylum under his watch, Trump dodged the question, saying, “When it comes to asylum, when they’re being flown in, it’s very hard to get them out, no matter how you want to do it, it’s very hard to get them out, but we’re going to get them all out.”

Trump’s Thursday night Social Truth followed suit, adding that America and “certain other stupid countries” are “just plain STUPID” when it comes to immigration.
Claiming that most immigrants in the US are on “welfare, from failed nations or from prisons, mental institutions, gangs or drug cartels”, Trump said they are supported by “massive” payments from “patriotic” Americans, “who, out of their beautiful hearts, do not want to openly complain or cause trouble in any way, shape or form”.
Trump then threatened to “permanently halt migration” from all Third World countries, claiming it would “allow the American system to fully recover.”
Trump also said his administration plans to “deport any foreign national who is a public burden, security risk, or incompatible with Western civilization.”
He noted that “only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation.”

Earlier Thursday, Trump ordered a review of all green card holders from “countries of concern.”
“We have directed a rigorous and large-scale review of every Green Card for every alien in every country of interest,” Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Joseph Edlow said Thursday afternoon in a statement on X.
Trump’s designated representative said, “The protection of this country and the American people remains paramount, and the American people will not bear the costs of the previous administration’s reckless relocation policies. American security is not negotiable.”
Trump’s post on Thursday ended with the line: “Other than that, happy thanksgiving to everyone except those who hate, steal, kill and destroy everything America stands for – You won’t be here long!”
