60 -year -old Jack Stone sold his belongings and moved from Maryland to Portugal with his cat’s olives last year – without intending to return.

In his Tiktok video, Stone wanted to send a message to other Americans who worry that they would not be enough to retire. “Many of us played the game and followed all the rules, and we’re coming briefly,” she said, adding, “It’s never too late. You have a chance, you’re not alone and you didn’t do anything wrong.”
She recommends that people interested in a new country talk to her employer about whether it is possible, as is her. She added that people do not need to marry everything they belong to their new home.
Stone also offers pre -considering Americans who are considering visiting abroad in advance, especially if they have not left the country before and do not expect the country to be similar to the US.
“The whole meaning of moving somewhere else is to experience your lifestyle,” Stone said.
