A lively night behind the bustling Eastern Hollywood nightclub early Saturday began a devastating turn when at least 30 people, including seven critically, injured a overcrowded sidewalk, overflowing with a crowded sidewalk.
The accident occurred outside Vermont Hollywood, where Fernando Ramirez, 29, was thrown for being disturbed before the police said he was driving his car to the crowd. The suspect was beaten and shot by outsiders and is now detained. Police have reported that there may be accusations, including an attempt to kill and an assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
The video footage after the accident showed the blood on the street and the injured guardians dilated on the pavement when the first respondents provided assistance, some victims were carried on a stretcher. Police stretched out the area as investigators tried to reconcile the sequence of events.
The crowd gathered outdoors to please the services, food stands and access to the nightclub. Among the affected structures was the Taco stand and Valletta podium, but the place itself did not cause any structural damage, officials said.
Ramirez, who remained hospitalized, was arrested by suspecting an assault with a lethal weapon, but a motive has not yet been identified, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department told CNN.

As the event occurred
The accident occurred at about 2 hours. Local time, as the patron departed from Vermont Hollywood, located directly to the west of the famous Sunset junction in the Silver Lake area.
“The driver turned on the sidewalk and struck a few people,” the event said in a event event. Based on its online calendar, the club hosted the Rekgae-Hop Hop event from 22 to 2 p.m.
Maria Medrano told the Associated Press in front of the club before the club. The car hit a sausage stand ruled by Medran and her husband, who narrowly avoided injuries.
“The car stopped when he collided with a sausage stand; he got stuck there,” Medrano told AP from the hospital. “If not, I wouldn’t have told you here.”
Initially, the police responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon, but arrived to find the car to the crowd “for unknown reasons” when bystanders attacked the driver, the authorities said.
The LAPD’s suspect was “immediately arrested and currently underway,” the event said.
What do we know about the driver
The driver was thrown out of Vermont Hollywood for being disturbed before the incident, Captain Ben Fernandes, Captain of the Los Angeles Police Department, told Los Angeles Times.
“After the video’s review, he rose to the sidewalk further and when he struck a distance, it was a thoughtful action,” Fernandes told La Times.
After the accident, bystanders pulled the driver out of the vehicle and started attacking it, says Jeff Lee, LAPD public information officer. One of the extraneous people shot the driver during the recovery, said Lee.
The first respondents discovered a gunshot wound through a secondary assessment, said Captain Adam Vangerpen, a public information officer in the Los Angeles Fire Service.
The suspect, who the police believed to have been intoxicated, was taken to hospital for surgery, a law enforcement officer, briefly presented on a CNN situation earlier.
The authorities found no evidence that the incident was related to terrorism or motivated criminal intentions except the driver’s disturbed state, a law enforcement officer said.
The man who believes that he reported that Ramirez had escaped from the scene of the incident while wearing a blue shirt, officials said. Police believe he used a silver revolver in the shooting.

Reacts more than 120 firefighters
Massive 124 firefighters’ response to emergencies responded to the overloaded scene by healing and transporting victims to injury centers and nearby hospitals, LAFD said.
“Many people were lined up at the Vale Podium, leaving the nightclub and gathered around the food stands,” said LAFP public information officer Erik Scott.
Seven victims were admitted to a hospital in critical condition, six in serious condition and 10 in fair condition. The additional seven people refused transport after they were evaluated at the scene. According to LAPD, the victims of 20 to 30 to 30 were 18 women and 12 men.
Most injuries were from broken bones and soft tissue injuries, but one victim also suffered a gunshot wound.
A night that could have been worse
“We are very lucky to have no deaths … When you are injured in 30 people and seven critical. We greatly appreciate the coordinated efforts of our society’s security partners and we continue to commit to supporting victims in the community,” Scott said.
Scott praised the efforts of outsiders, many of whom became involved in helping injured strangers.
“People helped each other,” Vangerpene said. “People waited for a tacos order to get inside (nightclub), so they see that people they don’t even know are injured. They are going to help them.”
Videos taken after the accident appeared bystanders to help victims, some of them still bleeding on the pavement while waiting for help.
Meren Karen Bass called the “heart -painful tragedy” and praised the rapid response of more than 100 police and fire staff. “The hearts of the Angelena are with all the victims of the victim this morning – a complete investigation into what happened.”
