Recently, talk about “Epstein files” everywhere, including Washington, also known as documents related to the criminal history of the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

There were months back and forth and stories about Trump’s administration cases are changing, while other politicians and society continue to require greater transparency. President Trump has repeatedly urged his supporters to give up the topic and move on.
Trump’s administration stated that it would release with Epstein’s documents, and in February. Attorney General Pam Bondi said his alleged client list “sitting on my desk” to be reviewed. However, earlier this month, the Department of Justice and the FBI issued a memorandum stating that there is no list of clients and that they have not found evidence that there is a foul in the Epstein’s death prison.

The friendship of Trump and Epstein is well documented, so people have questioned why Trump continues to try to remain silent about a national conversation about cases.

More recently, Trump appeared in Fox News to review his meeting with the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. It will currently take place on a five -day trip in Scotland, partly to check his golf course.

In a conversation with journalists, Trump talked about Epstein. “And, by the way, I never went to the island. And Bill Clinton supposedly went there, 28 times,” he says.

“I never drove to the island, but Larry Summers, I hear, I went there. He was the leader of Harvard. And many other people who are very big people. No one ever talks about them,” he continues short.
“I never had the privilege of going to its island,” he says.
“And I rejected him, but many people in Palm Bych were invited to his island. One of my very good moments I gave up. I didn’t want to go to his island,” he concludes as he moved to another question.

For the context, Trump talks about the little Saint James in the US Virgin Islands near Saint Thomas. Epstein belonged to the little Saint James since 1998. Until death in 2019 Epstein’s defendants said it was used as a central place in a huge global trafficking operation.

Thus, it is understood that people were shocked by a short wording that visiting the island would have been a “privilege”. This person said “my skin shrinks and my stomach is crumbling.”
This user compared Trump’s comment to when he said “I wish her” about a close Epstein accomplice and a convicted sex offender, Ghislaine Maxwell.
