Crews are fighting huge fire in North Las Vegas; 1 injured person
Las Vegas (class). On Tuesday morning, the fire in North Las Vegas raged at the place where the flats were being built. Black smoke could be seen from around the valley.
The fire was reported just before 7 p.m. NN on the fifth street, near the Centennial Parkway. When North Las Vegas fire crews arrived at the scene, they found large smoke and flame roads in three -storey apartment buildings, according to the North Las Vegas press.
Firefighters entered the area as neighbors like Tiffany Oleary started their day.
“I saw the smoke called my husband, the son, and I was, ‘I think the community is burning,” she said.
Firefighters began to fight the flame, promoted by dry air and wind. The North Las Vegas Fire Service initiated a second alarm clock to Clark County and Las Vegas Fire Services to help detain and prevent the spread of fire.

Another neighbor Joseph Brooks was grateful that the apartment building was not yet inhabitants.
“Nobody lived there yet, so I didn’t think anything was hurt,” Brooks said. “I’m sorry that the employee was injured but it was an empty apartment. They were ready to rent there. I thought they were about to start renting him at any minute.”
