The government continues the search of Decker
Closing comes when law enforcement continues to look for a 36-year-old Travis Decker, who is accused of killing his daughters at Rock Island Campground.
As three months approach, the location of Decker is still unknown.
Chelan County Sheriff’s Service said in a press release on Monday that they had no evidence to claim whether he was “alive or dead.” The US Marshal Service is headed by The Manhunt, supporting local and federal agencies.
“It can be international at the moment. It can be national, it can be here in place,” said Sheriff Morrison. “We did not give up. Patint, Evelyn and Olivia are still very head.”
Morrison also noted that the Decker could still be in the woods, but added: “We think that it would probably have been dead.”
The FBI said he would post additional information on Monday.
New Forensic Medical evidence released in search of Traviso Decker
The closure will take place shortly after the Chelan County Sheriff’s service has released new information about the ongoing investigation. A medical expert had previously found that the girls died of suffocating and that their deaths were murder.
According to the Sheriff’s Bureau, the researchers found several plastic bags over the girls’ heads and a tie nearby cables. The results of the laboratory from the Washington State Crime Laboratory confirmed that Decker DNA was on all bags and cables, along with the victim DNA.
No unknown DNA profiles have been identified about the items, which indicates that the authorities believe that no one else has participated in the crime.
Authorities are asking for public assistance
Anyone who sees the decker or has information about his or her whereabouts is urged not to contact him and immediately call 911.
