Take care of the annual book bag gifts
Cares, along with the Binghamton School district, has formed its annual backpack gift before the school year, three days, August 21-23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Released backpacks and school supplies from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Broome County Book Bag and Helmet Gifts
The BROome County Law Firm cooperates with local law enforcement and community partners to organize a gift. The event can be open to the public and operate on the “first come, first to get”.
August 23 Bookbag Giveaway location:

Exit the bridge, 143 Baldwin St., Johnson City, get a free book bag, haircuts and food at 1pm.
East Side Block Party
Fairview United Methodist Church will host an East Side Block party for free school supplies and haircuts for the fifth consecutive year.
When: August 16 11-14 p.m.
Where: 254 Robinson St., Binghamton.
Gifts for school children and adolescents will be held at the two river church before the school year. Register to ensure free haircuts, food, gift cards and other schools.
When: From 4 pm to 7 p.m. August 31
Where: 1 Chrisfield Ave., Johnson City.
Members of the new Apostolic Church will distribute free backpacks and school supplies to K-6 children for free.
When: August 23 12-22 p.m.
Where: 1288 VESTAL Ave., Binghamton.
The Binghamton Unit Universalists’ Congregation will host a free community event. Stocks, haircuts and friendly games will be available. The event is rain or shine.
When: Noon until 6 p.m. August 23
Where: 183 Riverside Drive, Binghamton.
Take RISK LLC cooperates with ICAN to organize school reserves related to live music, food, friendly children and free haircuts.
When: Between 15 am and 6 pm

Free sources for parents to study at home

The World Wildlife Foundation offers many downloaded educational tools, virtual trips and live broadcasts with experts.

National Geographic Explorer Classroom hosts many virtual classes for 8-14 years, 45 minutes for interactive online seminars. The program will be open from September 25th. By November 13, with five direct virtual events and five mission activities. Previous Explorer class recordings can be found on YouTube.

Turtlediari is an educational game site for K-5 classes, free access to games, videos, quizzes, worksheets and other useful training tools.
