When will another Starship appear? SpaceX working with version 3 to reach orbit

Another version of the SpaceX Starship, the world’s largest rocket, will be even larger and more perfect than the repetition of any spacecraft that has already 11 times from Texas.

At least these are the promises and visions that Elon Musk, the founder of the SpaceX billionaires, and other company officials said before leaving for the second design of the vehicle.

Starship 2 has managed to end its return story during the last test flight from the SpaceX Starbas headquarters at the US Mexican border. The fifth Spacecraft test was the second successful consecutive after three explosive failures, earlier in 2025.

Now? Get ready for version 3.

SpaceX was annoyed by a new generation of vehicle, which, through the live broadcast of the Starship mission, could reach the moon and Mars, which was raised from the Starship Mission, known as Flight 11, which came out of the ground, Monday, October 13.

Here’s all you need to know about the repeating of the V3 Starship, SpaceX, the new generation of Megarocket.

What is Starship? What is the Megarocket?

Starship is considered to be the largest and most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, previously organized by NASA retired 363-foot-height Saturn V, which was driven by the iconic Apollo Lunar program.

The second Starship design, known as version 2, is 403 feet high when it is completely stacked. The fully integrated launch system consists of a 232 -foot ultra -heavy rocket and a 171 -foot top star, a spacecraft where the crew and cargo will run.

SpaceX is developing Starship to make it a completely reusable transport system, which means that the rocket and vehicle can return to Earth additional missions.

In the coming years, Starship plans to play a major role in the US SpaceFlight.

Starship is a Musk’s vision to send the first people to Mars, planning the first uncovered star ship to go to the Red Planet as early as 2026.

The configuration of the vehicle is also critical of NASA’s plans to return astronauts to the lunar surface. The US Space Agency is developing the use of Starship to Celtic Artemis III astronauts from Orion capsule orbit to the lunar surface as early as 2027.

SpaceX is building several V3 Starship vehicles, especially heavy amplifiers

Another repetition of Starship spacecraft, already produced in Texas, may be even greater.

Musk, by submitting public updates in Starbas in May, stated that version 3 could be approximately 408 feet tall when it is fully stacked.

And that’s not all. Dan Hot, a SpaceX communications manager, briefly described some “really significant changes” caused by Starship 3 versions of the SpaceX online broadcast.

This includes overhaul under the hood to the Starship upper scene, which otherwise has similar sleek aesthetics as it has already flown. Super Heavy also reproduces, including a new fuel transmission tube that directs the fuel to its engines, Hot said.

SpaceX has previously posted in an X post that the next Super Heavy Booster will have three mesh fins to help it descend, not four, which, according to the company, will improve “vehicle control while providing the amplifier to land at higher corners of the offensive.” According to SpaceX, the fins are 50% larger and “larger” than the previous version.

“This is based on everything we have learned from all these flight tests to make the vehicle we are looking for in mass production,” Hoto said directly through the live broadcast.

The Starship 3 version could be one that can be achieved by Orbit, Rebuel Midflight

SpaceX said on its website that the next generation Starship could be the first to reach orbit.

So far, during 11 attempts, Starship has ran a much smaller subortibal trajectory behind the Earth’s atmosphere.

Future Starship iterations will also need to show a higher scene’s ability to supplement fuel in orbit, which is necessary to reach distant places. The process is complex, requiring two -star vessels with dock adapters to meet in orbit to move hundreds of tons of super cooled screw, SpaceX says.

In addition, SpaceX is going to be the Starship 3 version of being the one who has the top scene that can return and land on the start -up site.

If this sounds familiar, this is because SpaceX has already proven in three tests that it can catch a return to a particularly heavy amplifier in the Mechazilla tower with huge robotic hands – nicknamed “sticks”.

In fact, in the previous two start -ups of Starship, the maneuvers of the middle flight of the flight were tested to remove the deed.

Next-Gen Starship will run larger Starlink satellites

During the last two Starship flight tests, SpaceX has succeeded in deploying eight Starlink satellites above the Earth’s atmosphere, where they eventually burned.

For many years, the SpaceX Workhorse Falcon 9, a two -step 230 -foot missile, was the only rocket that could run and install Starlink satellites into the Rapdilly -growing constellation necessary for the company’s profitable internet business.

The SpaceX now says Starship version 3 will be very important when launching heavier Starlink satellites that will expand the connection to their customers.

When is the next Starship launch date? What do you know about 12 flight

Gwynne Shotwell, president and CEO of SpaceX last month in Paris, said that another repetition of Starship will fly to the end of next year or next year, Reuters said.

SpaceX also stated the desire to start Starship from Florida until 2025. But has not submitted to the plan of this plan since March.

Although the Sunshine state has not been established by any official target launch date, plans to expand Starship operations to Florida continued. SpaceX is currently confirmed by Starship launch from the Kennedy Space Center, where it creates more infrastructure as well as the Cape Canaal Space Force base.
