Arbital Health Launches Value-Based Care Adjudication Platform

  • Launch provides technology and connectivity between employers, payers, point solution providers, suppliers and accountable care organizations to accelerate contract resolution.
  • To date in 2024, Arbital Health has implemented 58 value-based care solutions.

SAN FRANCISCO, April 10, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Orbital health, a technology company focused on accelerating the healthcare industry’s transition to value-based care, today announced the debut release of its value-based contracting platform. Arbital Health’s platform facilitates secure data sharing and contract awarding between employers, payers, point-of-care providers, suppliers and accountable care organizations that serve members within a value-based care arrangement.

Since January, Arbital Health has completed 58 value-based care solutions. With the launch of the platform, Arbital Health expects to accelerate the number and scope of contract solutions between point solutions, providers, self-insured employers and payers.

The launch of the Arbital Health platform also served to provide insights for a self-insured Fortune 500 employer looking to manage healthcare costs with their preferred provider partner for a regional employee base.

Customers of the Arbital Health platform will benefit from a monthly interim adjudication process for all value-based contracts to prevent contract disputes, saving valuable resources, promoting smoother operations and improving patient outcomes. This is delivered through a HIPAA-compliant, seamless interface for clients to provide relevant data and receive their interim results.

This launch represents a significant improvement in the efficiency and transparency of value-based care contracting and adjudication processes.

“We are excited to debut the initial launch of the health value-based care adjudication platform,” said Brian M. Overstreet, president and CEO of Arbital Health. “In just three short months since the company’s public launch, our team has executed 58 value-based care contract solutions. Today’s release is the first step in our vision to be a neutral third-party arbiter of outcomes-based contracts that will help unlock a trillion-dollar transition to value-based care.”

“We are excited about this launch following the acquisition of Santa Barbara Actuaries in January 2024,” said Rich Gamret, FSA, MAAA, Senior Vice President of Actuarial Sciences. “The introduction of the Arbital Health platform allows us to expand our business and foster connectivity between key stakeholders in value-based care arrangements. Customers engaged in value-based care contracts can quickly make well-informed decisions, identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize contract performance, drawing on our extensive experience of ten years in this field.”
