St. Mary’s Historic Mission and Museum, Stevensville, 777-5734: includes guided tours of historic buildings; the featured exhibit is a display of antique toys. Opening hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00-15:00 with last tour at 14:00

Hockaday Museum of Art, 302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell, 406-755-5268, hockadaymuseum.com: Through September 2024: Ace Powell works and decorates with beads from the Three Chiefs Cultural Center.

America’s Wonder Museum, 36094 Memory Lane, 406-883-6804, miracleofamericamuseum.org: Features thousands of artifacts in dozens of buildings plus exhibits of World War II memorabilia that include more than 50 official photos taken by the U.S. Department of the Navy depicting the damage to the fleet. Opening hours: from 9 am to 5 pm every day.

The Missoula Museum of Art is holding a Benefit Art Auction Exhibition featuring 60 silent auction items and 20 live auction works by local, regional and national artists. It’s the largest fundraiser of the year for the nonprofit art museum. Top center: Sculpture by Madison-based engraver John Hitchcock in homage to Comanche horse coverings.

Come on! showcases work by nine University of Montana art students and recent graduates of the Department of Visual and Media Arts. The work featured in New Perspectives provides a snapshot of some of the issues facing emerging artists today. BT Livermore

BT Livermore poses next to a sample of their sign painting work at their studio at Home ReSource in Missoula on June 15. Livermore, who specializes in creative and unique sign painting, has worked with the nonprofit through the Open AIR program. The nonprofit places artists at places like the Moon-Randolph Homestead, the Montana Natural History Center and others.
