Farm Night: Bedtime Party Opening Night, 7 p.m., The Rose Theatre, Omaha. The Rose has collaborated with C+C Mini Factory (an Omaha-based artist duo) and renowned Omaha musician Graham Ulicny to bring the children’s book Night at the Farm: A Bedtime Party to life in a world premiere production adapted by Jackie Kappes , The Rose’s director of education and an Omaha resident. Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company – Year of the Dragon, 7:30 p.m., Orpheum Theatre, Omaha. The production is presented in cooperation with the Chinese Association of Nebraska. Tickets range from $10 to $36 and are available by phone at 402-345-0606 or online at ticketomaha.com.

Fremont Eagles Club open 3 p.m. to midnight, 649 N. Main St., Fremont. The club may stay open later or close earlier depending on business. The kitchen will be open from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The menu will include catfish, shrimp, wings, chicken tenders, fish sandwiches, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, appetizers, baked potatoes, fries, onion rings and salad. Nebraska Deer and Game Expo, 3-8 p.m., Sandhills Global Event Center, Lincoln. The expo, which runs through Sunday, features a full weekend of trophy deer, hunting seminars, hunting and outdoor exhibitors, advanced 3D archery and much more. Admission is $12 for ages 16 and older, $6 for youth ages 6-15, and free for ages 5 and under. Military/veterans receive half-price admission all weekend. Ladies will receive half-price admission on Friday. Three-day passes can be purchased for $25.

Fremont Chamber of Commerce Raffle Night, 4-6 p.m., Fremont Eagles Club, 649 N. Main St., Fremont. The event is presented by Promedcare. Loteria is a traditional Mexican game similar to bingo, but with colorful and lively cards featuring different images and characters instead of numbers. It is intended for the whole family. Early bird tickets are $10, while day-of-the-event tickets will be $15.

Live music by Shifting Gears, 7-11pm, Fremont Eagles Club Main Floor. Cover charge is $3. Everyone is welcome.
