Ferrero Travel Market will exhibit at the Summit of the Americas

Ferrero Travel Market will return to the IAADFS Summit of the Americas event this April to showcase its latest innovations in the cookie category, as well as new ways to create shared and memorable moments in the travel retail sector.

This year, the Ferrero Travel Market team will once again be stationed at a booth with regional partner Otis McAllister, where the new Ferrero Kinderini release is set to take center stage ahead of the American retail launch in September.

Ferrero is reportedly currently enjoying strong growth in the travel retail market in the Americas, driven by impressive results in leisure and vacation destinations. Despite a slow recovery in inbound traffic from the Asia-Pacific region, some locations such as Panama are performing comfortably ahead of 2019 levels. To build on this growth, Ferrero increased its range with key retailers in the region, debuting new warehouse units such as Nutella Biscuits and Ferrero Rocher Tablets, both of which were well received. These new additions have doubled the offering from Ferrero Travel Market in some locations. Ferrero has also created immersive experiences for traveling shoppers, with seasonal activations at major airports including Los Angeles International Airport and New York’s JFK to ensure the excitement of travel retail comes to life for consumers returning to the U.S. airports.

Creating shared moments with Kinderini

Kinderini is Ferrero Travel Market’s new creation, bringing the heart of Kinder into the biscuit category to create engagement and excitement for younger shoppers.

Kinderini was born from Ferrero’s determination to create innovation and engagement in the biscuit category, together with the company’s ability to leverage its global brands. Each piece is made from high-quality ingredients using state-of-the-art technology and infused with both the Kinder taste and brand touch with 18 different and playful Kinderino facial expressions on the biscuit.

The faces of each biscuit also form the basis of a digital campaign that uses the 18 different designs to create a spirit of fun, playfulness and competition among on-the-go shoppers. Ferrero has created a new digital platform that users can access via a QR code, where shoppers introduce themselves with one of Kinderini’s faces and are challenged to take a photo imitating Kinderini’s face as quickly and accurately as possible.

On-the-go shoppers can play with family and friends, and the fastest times can win branded prizes.

The 2024 Summit of the Americas takes place April 14-17 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, West Palm Beach, Florida. The Ferrero Travel Market team will be located at Otis McAllister’s stand 201.
