I WAVED, New Jersey, January 11, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Mindray, a global developer of patient monitoring, anesthesia and ultrasound technologies and solutions, today announced a five-year agreement with WakeMed Health & Hospitals (WakeMed), leading healthcare system in Raleigh, North Carolina The nationally recognized, 970-bed not-for-profit healthcare system selected Mindray’s intuitive patient monitoring systems – including BeneVision’s Distributed Monitoring System (DMS) and BeneVision’s N Series Patient Monitoring Systems – for its three hospitals.

As part of the agreement, approximately 2,300 monitoring devices will be installed in WakeMed’s emergency and inpatient areas, at all levels of acuity, to help assess and facilitate patient care, monitor vital signs and changes in condition in real time, and to ensure seamless data integration during patient transport in their facilities.

The BeneVision N-Series consists of six monitors with the same user interface. It allows healthcare facilities to choose their ideal display size and parameter options, putting precise, relevant data at clinicians’ fingertips. As the first-of-its-kind patient monitoring platform to incorporate capacitive touchscreen technology across all of its monitors, the N-Series enables clinicians to shave minutes off clinical review, analysis and charting time, resulting in increased efficiency and driving positive outcomes for patients.
