The playoff-bound Nashville Predators finish the regular season with three games in four days, starting with Friday’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Nashville clinched a playoff spot with the point earned in overtime against Winnipeg on Tuesday. The Predators are destined for the top wild card spot and a possible first-round matchup with Vancouver.
Chicago fans will be paying close attention to next month’s NHL draft lottery. The Blackhawks (23-50-5) are still in rebuilding mode despite a solid rookie year for Connor Bedard (59 points in 64 games).
Nashville wraps up the season with two games after Friday: Saturday’s home game against Columbus and Monday’s regular-season finale at Pittsburgh. The NHL regular season ends on April 18, with the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs beginning soon after.
