Get ready for some stellar basketball because the NBA All-Star Event is happening this weekend. Introducing teams made up of sporting legends such as LeBron James, Steph CurryKevin Durant, Jaylen Brown and Nikola Jokic, NBA All-Star Weekend gives fans a chance to see what happens when top NBA players go against each other.
NBA All-Star Weekend festivities begin this weekend on Friday, February 16 in Indianapolis. The weekend starts with the all-star game featuring the singer and the actress Jennifer Hudson and former NBA player, now reality star, Meta World Peace. After that game, viewers can tune into the NBA Rising Stars event with hand-picked rookies showcasing their talent on the basketball court.
Saturday night features the much-anticipated State Farm All-Star Saturday night, when athletes perform impressive feats. On Saturday night, spectators can tune in to see Kia Skills Night, the 3-point contest and the ever-popular Slam Dunk Contest. The Slam Dunk Contest is what many consider the main event of the weekend, and this year the four participants are Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, Jamie Jaques Jr. of the Miami Heat, Mack McClung of the Osceola Magic and Jacob Toppin of the New York Knicks.

What channels are the NBA All-Star Weekend games on?
Depending on the event, you’ll find All-Star Weekend broadcast on TNT, ESPN, ESPN 2 or NBA TV. The all-celebrity game will air on ESPN, while the Saturday Night Skills event will air on TNT. There’s also the G League Up Next Game and the HBCU Classic on NBA TV.
