The Ritz-Carlton travel poster series commissions artist Louis-Nicolas Darbon, including a signed portrait by Sir Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, to celebrate the brand’s ongoing partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team

Building on the Ritz-Carlton brand’s long-standing commitment to supporting the global community, all sales of the exclusive art series will go directly to the Sutton Trust through The Ritz-Carlton Community Footprints Fund

BETHESDA, Maryland, October 25, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC commissioned a series of travel posters created by an artist partner Louis-Nicolas Darbon to celebrate the brand’s continued partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. The Ritz-Carlton has a legacy of giving back through its Community Footprints program and through this fund will donate all proceeds from the sale of the posters to the Sutton Trust. Community Footprints is The Ritz-Carlton’s social and environmental responsibility program, guided by the principles of engagement, contribution and inspiration, with the goal of making a difference in the well-being of children and the alleviation of hunger and poverty.

Louis-Nicolas Darbonartist partner of the Ritz-Carlton brand, created seven canvas travel posters, in addition to one portrait of the chauffeur Sir Lewis Hamilton and one portrait of driver George Russell as part of the series. Travel posters are inspired by iconic cities from the 2022 season, including Miami, Montreal, Mexico City, Melbourne, Budapest, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Each poster comes as an original canvas measuring 90cm x 120cm and signed by This is Wolffsir Lewis Hamilton and George Russelland as a limited edition measuring 76 cm x 101 cm. 10 prints will be available for each of the travel posters. Original sails are priced $13,000 each while the limited edition prints last 3000 dollars everyone. The original portraits of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Sir drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell each signed by the respective driver. Signed portraits are priced 25,000 dollars.

Best known for his portraits of iconic figures, Louis-Nicolas Darbon is Londonbased artist whose work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, with solo exhibitions in London, Mexico City, Tokyo, The angels, Bangkok and more.

Through Accelerate 25, the team partnered with the Sutton Trust, an education charity based in Great Britain which aims to improve social mobility and address educational disadvantage for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through university and career access programmes, policy advocacy and research.

The Ritz-Carlton will launch the poster series with a private, experiential event October 27 at The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City. The immersive celebration, designed to enliven the senses, will feature music, cocktails, art and entertainment to celebrate the launch of the travel poster series, which are inspired by the vibrant colours, culture and backdrops of Grand Prix destinations around the world.
