An exhibit honoring the victims and survivors of the Nova Music Festival, called “6:29 AM The Moment the Music Stopped,” is coming to New York.
The event will take place from April 21 to May 25 – and there will be plenty of security to deter potential protesters, we hear.
American organizers – who include a team assembled by music mogul Scooter Braun – tell Page Six that the venue was shrouded in secrecy until the last minute.
We hear there’s also an extensive security plan in place, which includes 24-hour armed guards and cooperation with local authorities.
The exhibition, created and directed by Nova founders Reut Feingold, along with American partners such as Joe Teplow and Josh Kadden, was previously shown in Tel Aviv.
The show features first-hand accounts of the Oct. 7 massacre at a music festival in Reim, Israel, and shows objects such as burned cars and bullet-riddled bathrooms.
Hamas terrorists killed 370 people at the concert and kidnapped 44. (A total of 1,200 were killed in Israel on October 7 and about 240 people were taken hostage.)
We hear that the survivors will be present at times during the show to talk to guests and give tours.
Visitors can also petition for the return of the 134 hostages still being held and are invited to a healing tent.
“We hope this exhibition shows visitors that we can all hold two truths: one that longs to memorialize and honor the massacre at the Nova Music Festival, and the other for all the lives lost, both Palestinian and Israeli.” organizers said in a statement. “We want to bring hope to visitors and preserve the memories of those we lost.”
Donations will go to Nova Healing Journey, which supports mental health treatment for victims and families of the attack.
