SOFTBALL

Green Bay Preble 10, Green Bay Southwest 0

GREEN BAY – Katie Geidoszek pitched five hitless innings for the Hornets, striking out 13 batters in the win.

Green Bay Preble’s Tenley Kuehn had three hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. Sam Foytik hit a two-run home run. She also had three RBIs. Chloe Savage had two hits.

Notre Dame 10, Sheboygan North 0

GREEN BAY – The Tritons’ Emma Jachner had two triples, three RBIs, scored three runs and stole two bases to lead Notre Dame to a victory over the Golden Raiders.

Winning pitcher Addie Simpson had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs for Notre Dame. Ava Massey had two hits and Risa Peters scored twice.

Simpson went five innings, allowing two hits and four walks while striking out four.

Emily Brandis took the loss for Sheboygan North.

Mara Babak had two hits, including a double, for Sheboygan North.

Bay Port 14, Manitowoc 4

SUAMICO – The Pirates scored 14 hits and had four home runs in a win over the Shipps.

Bay Port improves to 3-0 in the Fox River Classic Conference and 3-2 overall.

Manitowoc is 0-3 in the conference and 0-5 overall.

Denmark 5, Oconto Falls 1

OKONTO FALLS — Macy Mleziwa was 4-for-4 to rally the Vikings from an early 1-0 deficit to beat the Panthers in Northeast Conference action.

Kiera Cole singled in Oconto Falls’ lone run.

Olivia Ullmann doubled to help Denmark tie the game 1-1 early in the second leg. In the top of the fourth, the Vikings took the lead for good after Abby Johnson singled and Ullman singled, each scoring a run.

Maggie Frank led Denmark in the circle, surrendering six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out six and walking two.

Mishicot 1, Shawano 0

SHAWANO – Kaelin Adair drove in Cora Stodola with the only run of the game in the fourth inning as Mishicot outlasted the Hawks.

Kieran Sanford earned the win, going all seven innings and allowing four hits while striking out 10.

Braelyn Babineau led Shawano with two hits.

BASEBALL

Wrightstown 4, Brillion 2

WRIGHTSTOWN – The Tigers improved to 5-0 with the win over the Lions.

Wrightstown, which scored one run in the first inning and three in the second, got two hits from Trevor Vande Hey and a double from Trent Vande Hey. Jack Severson drives in a pair of runs.

Joe Shimek, Chase Brown and Landon Mathes each had two hits for Brillion.

Quaid Thompson pitched four shutout innings, allowing three hits while striking out eight to earn the win for Wrightstown.

Jaden Bastian took the loss for Brillion.

Wausaukee 6, Three Lakes 4

WAUSAUKEE – The Rangers rallied from a 4-2 deficit, scoring three runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to earn the nonconference victory.

Christian Deschane led Wausaukee by going 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

The Rangers took advantage of nine turnovers and an error.

Mitchie Cuse and CJ Force each had two hits for Three Lakes.

FOOTBALL FOR GIRLS

Green Bay Southwest 5, Denmark 0

GREEN BAY – Autumn Nolte scored three goals to lead the Trojans to a victory over the Vikings.

Lima Noorzad and Adsien Engels also scored for Green Bay Southwest.

Alexandra Syudzinski had an assist for Southwest.

Gail Weary made two saves in goal for the Trojans.

Peshtigo 3, Luxemburg-Casco 2

LUXEMBOURG – The Bulldogs topped the Spartans in non-conference action.

The goals for Luxemburg-Casco were scored by Emmy Kuhn and Diem Boness.

The Spartans’ Tabby Lemmens made seven saves in net.

ATHLETICS

Neenah Season opener

BOYS

Neenah’s Grant Dean took first in the 100, 200 and 400 meters with times of :10.83, :22.18 and :50.97 respectively. Teammate Wyatt Armock won the 3,200 in 10:24.32 and the 800 in 2:07.54.

Neenah’s Sam Shear swept the weight events, winning the discus with a throw of 131-11 and the shot put with a throw of 46-0.5.

GIRLS

Neenah’s Celia Gentile won the 200 in :26.96 and the 400 in 1:05.34. She also won the long jump with a leap of 18-0.

Neenah’s Rachel Dietrich won the 800 in 2:27.50 and the 1,600 in 5:35.56.

Ashwaubenon’s Thea Kral won the shot put and discus with a mark of 35-7 and discus throw of 130-10.

Team scores were not saved.

Lena quadrangular

BOYS

COLEMAN 100, CRIVITZ 69, LENA/SAINT THOMAS ACADEMY 38, ONEIDA NATION 21

Coleman’s Micah Kuchta won the 100 and 200 meters with times of :11.89 and :24.42, respectively. Victor Kostreva swept the 110 and 300 hurdles with times of 16.06 and 46.14, respectively. Kostreva also won the bar with a height of 12-3.

James Cain for Krivitz took first in both the 800 and 1,600 with times of 2:29.77 and 5:11.19.

GIRLS

LENA/SAINT THOMAS ACADEMY 81, CRIVITZ 64, COLEMAN 42, ONEIDA NATION 23

For Lena/Saint Thomas Academy, Adrena Rabas won the 800 and 1,600 with times of 3:03.01 and 6:46.32, respectively. Abigail Kostreva won the long jump with a leap of 13-5.75 and the 400 in 1:08.60.

Coleman’s Kiersten Jensen won the shot put with a mark of 29-9.5 and the discus with a mark of 102-4.

Marinette Purple Power Invitational (Thursday)

BOYS

KEWAUNEE 202, GLADSTONE, MI. 190, MARINETTE 115.5, SURING 79.5, GREEN BAY WEST 54

Kewaunee’s Christopher Cullen won the 800 and 1,600 meters with times of 2:02.82 and 4:45.69, respectively. Cullen also ran on the first leg of Marinette’s 1,600 relay team, which won in 3:48.16. Other team members included Jackson Wisnicki, Joe Schliss and Thomas Stangel.

Kewaunee’s 3,200 relay team of Schlies, Teagan Shaw, Gage Viles and James Joski won in 9:33.14. Viles also won the 400 in :57.01.

Kewaunee’s Maddix Mueller won the triple jump with a leap of 41-0.25 and the high jump with a height of 6-0. Mueller teamed with DJ Echos, Stangel and Owen Carlson to win the 400 relay with a time of :45.99. Echos won the long jump with a leap of 19-2.

For Marinette, Mason Hofherr was a double winner, taking first in the 100 with a time of :11.68 and leading the 800 relay with Braxton Polzin, Luke Adams and Elijah Wimbush with a winning time of 1:36.04. Adams won the 200 with a time of: 25.15.

GIRLS

KEWAUNEE 163, GLADSTONE, MI. 138.83, GREEN BAY WEST 137.5, SURING 125.16, MARINETTE 70.5

Kewaunee’s Hannah Miller was on the winning 1,600-meter relay with Rylee Dax, Braelyn Witcpalek and Lily Hudson with a winning time of 4:38.25. Miller also won the 400 in 1:02.82 and the triple jump with a distance of 34-5.75. Dax and Hudson, along with Alice Bergo and Katie Meyer, won the 3,200 relay in 11:21.73. Meyer won the 3,200 with a time of 14:32.20

Chyanne Robinson won both the shot put and discus for Kewaunee with a mark of 29-9 and a discus throw of 96-4.

Green Bay West’s Adriana Moyano won the pole vault with a height of 9-0 and the long jump with a leap of 16-0. Da’jayah Slaton won the high jump at a height of 4-10 to tie with teammate Mikiah Rogina and Gladstone’s Kristy Karl. Rogina won the 300 hurdles in :54.29, while Slayton won the 200 in :28.45.

TENNIS FOR BOYS

Wausau West 4, Shawano 3

Andrew Vandenheuvel S defeated Andrew Lipowski 6-1, 7-5; Breton Wayde WW beat Benjamin Langlois 6-1, 6-4; Eli Hackett defeated WW Abraham Kim 7-5, 6-0; Derek Emon defeated WW Evan Anderson 6-3, 6-4.

Tristan Sheldon/George Buerman S beat Micah Boismenue/Jackson Ngo 6-2, 6-2; Carson Kirsch/Jack Burger defeated WW. Tristan Tetting/Isaac Wellander 7-5, 6-3; Christian Hernandez/Domenic Badalamenti S beat Ryan McCallum/Nathan Young 7-5, 6-3.
