Get your sunscreen and ayahuasca ready because music festival season is upon us. We know that music festivals are spiritual erotica for tech bros and trust fund kids at this point, but we owe these festivals respect for the simple reason that they give worthy artists economic incentives to tour. You don’t have to have a shaman who is native to the Sonoran desert to appreciate this.
Speaking of being locals in places, a good number of North Texas acts are included in many of these newly announced music festival lineups. And no doubt we’ll see more festivals featuring more local people in the coming weeks.
